I made a dress a decade ago, something between an evening and a ball gown. Ballerina length. I found it in a closet at my parents’ house today and to my great shock the thing still fits. I remember it being a snug fit 7 lbs ago, so I don’t know how it zipped up so easily this afternoon. Still, it fits and it looks fantastic so I’m trying to figure out if a ballerina hemline is still doable. That length can look very debutante ball to me, but it’s more practical than a full floor length gown since it works for more occasions. Though I’ve only worn it once, so fussing over trying to make it work for multiple events is kind of stupid.

I realise that I am in the minority on this one, but Ryan Gosling doesn’t really do it for me. I’m not referring to his ability as an actor or the quality of his movies, I couldn’t really comment on either. He’s just a bit more puppy dog than I like in a man. Alright that was slightly beside the point, but written as a preface so I can avoid looking like a fan girl for someone I’m not a fan girl for.

Here’s the point:

I suspect that Ryan Gosling got bullied as a kid. Often. Possibly daily. And I wonder how many of those same bullies now have to take their wives/girlfriends to Ryan Gosling movies just so they can get laid that night.

“Is that a bottle of water? What, have you been living in a cave? You can’t bring that much water onto a plane!”

“This scenario isn’t nearly as sexy as I thought it would be.”
